(WXIR-Rochester) One week after President Trump assassinated Iranian General Qassem Suleimani, anti-war protests have taken place in more than 180 US cities.
On Thursday, around 60 people gathered in downtown Rochester to demand that Congress support legislation blocking any spending on war with Iran without specific, prior approval.
The rally was organized by Rochester-area youth. Many protesters highlighted the link between imperialism and climate change.
Reclaiming the Narrative spoke with Hridesh Singh, Scott Wagner, Crescenzo Scipione, Mara Ahmed, and Emily Good.
