"Excuse Me! I'm Speaking" Youth Poetry Contest Spotlights Local Talent

ROCHESTER NY--The Rochester Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta recently hosted a poetry night with the goal of empowering local youth. We spoke with Daja James, the author of the first place poem, to find out why she decided to enter the contest, and what inspired her to write "Black Roses Spring."
