(WXIR-Rochester) What role do the arts have to play in documenting and intervening in the COVID-19 crisis? What would it take to roll out a massive, community-based artistic response to the crisis here in Rochester?
These are some of the guiding questions a group of local arts organizations will be posing to the public during a preliminary "visioning session" Saturday, May 9th at 2pm. The online meeting is being hosted by the Rochester Contemporary Art Center and it will be live-streamed to RoCo's Facebook page.
We recently spoke with Bleu Cease, RoCo's Executive Director, to find out more.
